Angelica left the village after being responsible for Heath Hope’s death Actress Rebecca Bakes has confirmed she will return to Emmerdale as Angelica King. At the start of the year, Angelica, Heath and Cathy stole a car with the intention of getting to a New Year’s party. However, on the way, Angelica replaced Cathy as driver and ended up crashing into a wall, with the injuries being enough to kill Heath.
Posting on her Instagram stories shortly after her departure episode aired, Rebecca said: ‘Had an amazing time filming this storyline can’t wait to get back to it’. As it stands, we currently don’t know the full details of Angelica’s returning scenes. It’s possible she could be released early, or be involved in scenes where Jimmy and Nicola visit her, or we could be waiting until the Autumn before we see her again.
