Emmerdale's Arthur Thomas was left heartbroken on Tuesday night's episode of the hit ITV soap as love interest Marshall Hamston delivered a devastating bombshell
During the latest instalment, Arthur, who recently came out as gay in powerful scenes, was hurt and upset after learning news about his love interest Marshall.
In particular, Marshall's homophobic father Colin, who has been hellbent on stopping his son from spending any time at all with Arthur, even branding the latter a "disgusting pervert" in vile scenes. Arthur was left devastated by the news as he begged Marshall to stay, but the latter cruelly said about their blossoming romance "it's all in your head", insisting they were just friends and "nothing would have happened" if he stayed.
