As a nail-biting kidnapping storyline got underway on Emmerdale this week, fans at home couldn't help but notice a series of blunders as Laurel Thomas failed to escape her captor
Emmerdale fans couldn’t help but feel frustrated on Wednesday night as Laurel Thomas continued to suffer at the hands of crazed political Colin Hamston who had locked her up in his estranged son Marshall’s bedroom.
Trying her best to reason with Colin and talk her way out of the situation, the infuriated dad appeared to get more and more deranged as time went on as he blamed Laurel for his son’s sexuality, after Marshall was recently revealed to be gay. However, one gripe many fans couldn’t help but share, was how Laurel had failed to escape given the fact she was in a room with a large window, that could easily have been smashed to free her.
One viewer wrote: "There's so many ways she could have got out of there, easy ways, it's absolutely ridiculous!! Emmerdale, seriously you're insulting us with these pathetic, stupid storylines!!"
