Already well into your EmilyInParis season 3 binge? Us too! Screen Rant spoke with the fabulous cast and creator about the twists, turns, and tête-à-têtes of season 3. See what lilycollins, ashleyparklady, ItsLucien, and much more had to say here:
Warning: Spoilers for Emily In Paris season 3!Emily in Paris not only centers on two female friends who are in love with the same guy, it also follows the other men that get pulled into their love dodecahedron. To top it all off, Emily works for two bosses from rival companies who despise each other and has two co-workers who carry the best comedic moments. Thankfully, she can always count on her close friend Mindy to cheer her on even as she deals with her own drama.
Ashley Park: You know what? I think that Camille and Gabriel are good together, and I think that Alfie and Emily are good together. I understand that there was a magic point in time for Emily and Gabriel but I think that's over. But I actually don’t know. Actually don’t quote me on that. What do you all think?Ashley Park: Wait, at the end of the season, I don’t think they are on separate teams now.Ashley Park: I'm on team Camille's baby.
But then as Emily, the producer, not Emily, I completely agree with Camille. I think it was incredible to showcase another side of love, of a relationship, to embrace another avenue that we get to explore and Melia is an incredible actress. We were so fortunate to have her a part of our family, and I think it was really empowering to have that in here.
Darren, do you sometimes listen to what some of the actors are saying, like "I really want this to happen next season," or "Let’s do this for season 4?" Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu: Oh my God. Remember, it was super hard to get up there because of one elevator working. Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu: That’s so great. So great. I walk in the office and there is a trained pigeon that comes in his hand, and he did it in one take. It’s like...Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu: I wasn’t even scared because I saw that they rehearsed once and did it. Oscar. An Oscar.
William Abadie: It’s my car, and I didn’t get to drive it. It’s his ride, and he didn’t get to ride it. It’s just scandalous. But we did send complaints to the Emily in Paris board and we’re getting some compensation out of it. Lucien Laviscount: Yeah, we opened the door, trunk, closed the door, closed the trunk, and did that a few times.
Lucien Laviscount: In a heart beat. In a heart beat. I’ve got a brother in this man for life. So he’d buy on my time, one way or the other. He’d be on my team, for sure. During the scene when you’re smelling the perfume, were you guys actually doing that? Did you guys have to do multiple takes? Samuel Arnold & Bruno Gouery on Emily in Paris Season 3 Screen Rant: There’s a scene where the two of you are posing for a photo shoot. Were some of the poses you gave your ideas? Did you give a little spin on it?Bruno Gouery: It was improvised. Obviously with our character in mind, thinking what Luc and Julien would do within the boundaries of the character. Bruno Gouery: When I slap on my ...
Samuel Arnold: The last few episodes, not only for Luc and Julien, but speaking about the entire series, the last episodes are quite a riot.
