New Centers for Community Solutions CEO Emily Campbell has directed demographic and socioeconomic research on poverty
Center for Community Solutions executive Emily Campbell has been named its next president and CEO. She starts the new position on Dec. 1.CLEVELAND, Ohio — Center for Community Solutions executive Emily Campbell has been named its next president and CEO, the research and policy think tank announced Thursday.
Campbell has been at the center for 16 years, and was COO for more than a year. Prior to that, she directed demographic and socioeconomic research on the causes and consequences of poverty. She sees her appointment as joining the wave of new, younger community leaders in positions across Greater Cleveland, such as Mayor Justin Bibb, Cuyahoga County executive Chris Ronayne, Cleveland Metropolitan School District CEO Warren Morgan and MetroHealth System CEO Airica Steed.
“Emily has great knowledge and understanding of the organization, public policy, networks, strategy and a vested interest in the community’s well-being. She knows where the organization has been and where it needs to go to best serve the health and human service needs of Greater Cleveland and all of Ohio.”
