In a social media post, Emeryville police said officers were called to the 1500 block of 40th Street about 2:35 p.m. after a report of a stabbing and told that Oakland police already were there. But police said that when Emeryville police officers arrived, officers from Oakland had left, and the victim was gone.
Police said officers reviewed video of the incident that showed a female suspect walked by the victim and cut the victim’s neck with an unknown object.
