A historic Palm Springs home previously leased by Elvis Presley for his honeymoon is now on the market for $5.8 million. The Alexander Residence, known for its midcentury modern design, was renovated by current owners Nancy Cirillo and Cary Collins. The property features four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a unique layout with circular pods connected by terrazzo floors and exposed brick walls.
It’s been over six decades since Elvis Presley met Priscilla Beaulieu at a party in Germany. He was serving in the Army, the two hit it off, and subsequently they tied the knot in a 1967 ceremony held at the Aladdin Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Afterward, the couple honeymooned at aas his personal home, the aptly named Alexander Residence was last sold in late 2022 for roughly $5.7 million to entrepreneur Nancy Cirillo.
A stand-out sunken living room sports a custom built-in sofa and a striking fireplace, plus glass sliders spilling out onto a terrace. An elevated dining area connects to the kitchen, which is outfitted with white oak cabinetry, quartzite countertops, and a round island with five stovetop burners. An adjacent den, meanwhile, has a fireplace and TV notched into an earth-toned accent wall stretching to the ceiling. A former closet has also been converted into a black marble bar.
Tucked away up a staircase is a spacious primary suite that comes complete with a luxe bath flaunting wardrobe closets, a circular soaking tub, and access to a private balcony. Outdoors, the palm tree-laced grounds are showcased by a fireside sitting area, as well as a large pool and separate spa. There’s also an attached two-vehicle carport on the premises.
