The musical, based on the 2006 film, is John's latest project following his retirement from touring in 2023. Additionally, a documentary titled 'Elton John: Never Too Late' about his journey of coming out will be released on Dec. 13. Earlier this year, John achieved EGOT status after winning an Emmy for his show 'Elton John Live: Farewell From Dodger Stadium'
