A behind-the-scenes video reveals Elton John's frustrations during the recording process of his upcoming album with Brandi Carlile. The 77-year-old music legend experiences a meltdown, clashing with a producer and expressing doubts about the project. Despite the challenges, John ultimately finds success and describes the experience as one of the greatest musical adventures of his career.
Elton John was seen having a meltdown and bumping heads with a producer while recording his and Brandi Carlile’s forthcoming album, “Who Believes In Angels?”
“Dude, I’m just trying to make the song as best as it can be.
“I was exhausted, I had a lot of doubt … I was a nightmare,” the “Rocket Man” singer admitted in a voiceover. “There was tension in the studio … and I thought, ‘I don’t want to do it.'” “I’m going home,” he told his producer before conceding that he couldn’t abandon the project because other people were involved.“Finally, it all started to flow,” he said, explaining he wanted to push his musical abilities.“This has never happened to me in my whole career,” he said as Carlile, 43, comforted him.
