Elton John ambushed by Pep Guardiola and Manchester City stars as team celebrate FA Cup final win
Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City team serenaded Elton John while celebrating their FA Cup final win. Pep and his squad ambushed the mega-star after bumping into him at Manchester Airport last night - and belted out a version of Your Song for him.
The 76-year-old singer played his last ever concert in Manchester at the AO Arena on Saturday night as part of his farewell tour. Ilkay Gundogan struck in each half of City as they completed the domestic double having already wrapped up the Premier League title last month. Upon landing, they were greeted by football fan Elton, a former chairman and director of Watford and now honorary life president of the club. City shared footage of their players being greeted and congratulated by the singer, including Kevin de Bruyne, Manuel Akanji, Kyle Walker, Nathan Ake, Julian Alvarez and Phil Foden.
