Model Elsa Hosk was recently spotted in Los Angeles wearing a stylish winter outfit that combines denim, fur, and leather. The look includes a Magda Butrym coat with leather exterior and shearling fur lining, dark wash jeans, a Bally baseball cap, Reebok sneakers, and a Row Margaux bag.
Denim, fur, and leather, oh my! This might sound like an overload of materials, but Elsa Hosk proved that it was just the right amount when she stepped out in Los Angeles in late December, giving me major new inspiration for my next winter outfit . As she proved that mixing is the motto of the season, the model wore one of her favorite cozy, fabulous, and super-oversized staples, a statement coat from Magda Butrym that features two contrasting fabrics in one.
The long outerwear has shiny black leather on the outside, and is lined with white shearling fur that also decorates the lapels and cuffs. Traditionally, the coat comes with a belt, but Hosk left it open, showing off her black tee and cinched dark wash jeans underneath. (Sadly, you can’t buy the outerwear on the brand’s official website, but you can get yourself one here or here.) To match her jeans, Hosk slipped on a denim baseball cap from Bally, which was embroidered with the words “St. Moritz,” the alpine resort town in Switzerland where Hosk likes to take her wintertime holidays. Finally, she completed the look with a pair of Classic AZ sneakers from Reebok while carrying one of the most sought-after bags right now—the Row’s Margaux—in a black leather. (She owns it in multiple other shades as well). Hosk shared photos of this look with her followers on Instagram just yesterday, despite the fact that she wore it a couple weeks back. In her caption, she wrote, “Out n about in my @reebok classic az🤍 #reebok #Ad,” indicating that those original street style photos may not have been so candid after all. But when the outfit is this good, there’s no shame in wanting to give it the attention it deserves
