Electric vehicle-making company Tesla has plans to produce 200,000 units of its famous Cybertruck, according to comments made by its CEO Elon Musk in a podcast. Musk was a guest at the Joe Rogan podcast on Tuesday, was the apple of the eye of Tesla fans when it was unveiled in 2019. Back then, Musk had promised delivery of the vehicle in two years.

Musk spent most of the episode talking about the upcoming EV and said the vehicle would be available in two variants weighing 6,000 pounds and 7,000 pounds . This puts the CyberTruck in the same weight category as Ford'sMusk confirmed that the Cybertruck could achieve a 0-60mph acceleration in less than three seconds. Whether this capability extends to all variants or not remains unknown for now but is undoubtedly one of the specifications that have been retained from the 2019 announcement.

Even at this new rate, the company would take 10 years to fulfill all the estimated reservations if they converted into orders in the future. The problem, however, is with the production of the vehicle itself, which isn't straightforward.
