According to The Wall Street Journal, Elon Musk and a group of investors are offering $97.4 billion to take control of OpenAI.
The Journal cited a statement from Musk provided by Toberoff, saying"It's time for OpenAI to return to the open-source, safety-focused force for good it once was.", OpenAI CEO Sam Altman wrote,"no thank you but we will buy twitter for $9.74 billion if you want." Musk then replied to the OpenAI chief on X calling him a", is in the middle of a heated legal and public relations battle with Altman.
