The world's richest man steps in after his car firm Tesla U-turned on a request for 4,000 pies.
Elon Musk has stepped in to foot the bill for 4,000 mini pies after his firm cancelled an order at the last minute.
He even had Tesla place a new order - but the bakery said it was now so flooded with business from well-wishers it was too busy to take it on. "Just hearing about this," he said in a post on X, formerly Twitter, responding to a local news story about Tesla cancelling the order. "Unfortunately, I can not do their catering event because with all the business that we got, we depleted our stock," she said.
