ELO band's North American farewell tour will make two Southern California stops

The popular 1970s-era rock band, famous for 'Evil Woman' and 'Mr. Blue Sky,' was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2017

'Mr. Blue Sky' is saying goodbye. Jeff Lynne's ELO is heading out on its final North American tour, promoters announced Monday. Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via Ticketmaster. Pre-sales start at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The band's 27-date 'The Over and Out' tour kicks off in Palm Desert, California, on Aug. 24 and wraps Oct. 25 in Los Angeles.
