Ellen DeGeneres was reportedly ‘teary-eyed’ at her staff meeting about the toxic workplace claims.
An inside source has claimed that the talk show host got ’emotional’ during the virtual meeting that included about 200 employees. They said that Ellen had been ‘waiting to speak to her team this whole time’ but was ‘not allowed’ due to the investigation.that all of Ellen’s employees will receive additional perks to their job – including increased paid time off and a more liberal medical leave policy.It was also claimed that staff will receive five paid days off to use whenever they wish and paid time off for doctors appointments and family matters.
Ellen and the show producers spoke with over 200 staffers on Monday and told staff ‘do not be afraid’ A source told Variety that the new perks and Ellen’s apology have ‘improved morale’ as they explained: ‘It was important to know what and how much she knew. Because many of us really believe in her.’
