Ellen DeGeneres announced her final stand-up special, which is expected to air on Netflix later this year.

“To answer the questions everyone is asking me- Yes, I’m going to talk about it. Yes this is my last special. Yes, Portia really is that pretty in real life,” DeGeneres said in a press release. Over the past few months, DeGeneres has been hinting that she’s working on new material and has even shared with audiences at her performances that she’s preparing for this upcoming routine that will eventually stream on Netflix.
According to the press release, DeGeneres’ special will be produced by Fulwell73 productions and Ben Winston, who served as executive producer of. Starting in June, the comedian will embark on a multi-city tour, stopping in San Diego, Washington state, Oregon, and the Bay Area. During a Los Angeles show in April, DeGeneres said she’ll be taping her special in Chicago this fall.Warner Bros.
