A stellar cast, including Elle Fanning, Dakota Fanning, Jamie Bell, Lukas Gage, Tracy Letts, Elena Anaya, and Pamela Anderson, is set to bring Marco Bellocchio's classic Italian dark comedy 'Fists in the Pocket' to life in a new English-language remake. Filming is currently underway in Spain.

In addition, Jamie Bell , Lukas Gage , Tracy Letts , Elena Anaya , and Pamela Anderson have also been tapped to star in the project. They will be joining previously announced cast member Elle Fanning, who will next be seen in the upcoming Bob Dylan biopic movie A Complete Unknown., Turner and Keough will be playing the lead characters in the Rosebush Pruning movie. They will be replacing Oscar nominee, who exited the project due to scheduling conflicts.
“I’m so excited to bring this audacious and delicious script to life, which challenges our notions of the traditional family and the patriarchy, with this brilliant ensemble of actors who I have long admired,” Aïnouz said in a statement. Rosebush Pruning is being directed by Karim Aïnouz from a screenplay written by Efthimis Filippou. The film is produced by Viola Fügen, Michael Weber, Simone Gattoni, Annamaria Morelli, Andreas Wentz, Juan Cano, and Rachel Dargavel. The original 1965 movie is described as a significant part of Italian cinema which tells a dark satire of family and social values. Starring Lou Castel, the film is centered around a young epileptic man who is planning to murder his dysfunctional family.
