An Elizabethtown man will spend up to 100 years behind bars after he was found guilty of raping and sexually abusing four kids. One victim told police that Anderson started abusing them when they were 11 years old, and Anderson would rape the victim in exchange for gifts.
Another victim said Anderson raped and abused them when they were in sixth grade. The victim said they went to Anderson's home because he was supposed to help the child complete a school project, but once there, he sexually abused the victim. Assistant District Attorney Fritz Haverstick said Anderson was a "con man" who convinced others he cared about and could be trusted with children.
Following a trial in December, a jury found Anderson guilty of 37 different offenses, including three counts of rape of a child, one count attempted rape of a child, and seven counts related to statutory sexual assault.
