A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a"much-loved" grandmother in Aberdeenshire.
Officers were called to a house in Catto Drive, Peterhead, on Tuesday evening following a report of concern for Elizabeth Watson.in connection with Ms Watson's death. Divers, of Peterhead, made no plea to the single murder charge when he appeared at Peterhead Sheriff Court on Friday.
