Hundreds of people gathered in downtown Elgin Saturday to watch the city's first Pride Parade. Many attendees waved flags, cheered, danced and shouted “Happy Pride.” “I’m excited and happy,” Richardson said. “I think it’s a great chance for us to shine all together.”
