The 58-year-old actor was taken into custody in Florida on Tuesday and has been charged with two counts of contempt of court.

“Mr. Love was extremely upset. It was zero to 100 real quick,” the alleged woman said in July 2025 testimony.

The actor claimed he made zero dollars in the last 12 months. The"Elf" star said his highest annual income in the last five years was $13,000.
Love shared the sums to prove he cannot pay the $250,000 child support he allegedly owes. Love was arrested and charged with two counts of contempt of court on Tuesday. The California resident is being held without bond in Florida.
