Eleven Israeli soldiers have been killed fighting Hamas terrorists in Gaza since the Jewish nation ramped up its ground operations in the Palestinian territory, the Israel Defense Forces said.
Then on Wednesday, the Israeli military confirmed nine other soldiers were killed Tuesday fighting Hamas in the Palestinian enclave. Israel began a new stage of the war over the weekend with boots on the ground in Gaza following retaliatory airstrikes in response to Hamas’ slaughter of more than 1,400 Israelis on Oct. 7.The Hamas-backed Gaza Health Ministry claims more than 8,000 Palestinians have been killed since the conflict erupted last month.
