A 10 Weather Impact Day has been issued for Monday afternoon from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. when the heat is expected to reach its peak.COLUMBUS, Ohio — After several days of much more comfortable weather here in Central Ohio, we are finally about to head back into the summer heat around the Buckeye State!
This change will start around the region on Friday, with temperatures pushing back up into the upper 80s and possible low 90s. We should all drift into the low 90s on Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures reaching the mid-90s by Monday. This increase in temperature will be accompanied by an increase in humidity as well, pushing feels-like temperatures up into the low 100s to kick off next week. has been declared for Monday next week. The time of highest concern will be during the afternoon and early evening when high levels of heat and humidity will make it hard to stay cool. During this time period, you need to make sure you are taking plenty of breaks if you are working out in the heat.

Dew points will remain high through the next 7 days, with heat index values back up near dangerous levels on Tuesday as well.
