PETALING JAYA: It’s been a disastrous start for Pahang in the Super League with two straight defeats, but coach Dollah Salleh is telling his boys not to panic.
The Elephants fell to a 1-2 loss to Selangor in their opening match at the Darul Makmur Stadium on Feb 29 and suffered another heartbreak with a 3-4 defeat to Petaling Jaya City last Friday.
“I don’t see any major issues with the team’s performance ... We did play well but we didn’t get the results we wanted and we have identified the mistakes,” said Dollah. The Elephants, who lost their skipper Matthew Davies in the transfer window, are still finding their feet in the league. Another problem is that winger Mohamadou Sumareh is still not 100% fit following an ankle injury.
