The one noticeable difference this year, was the unavoidable presence of hybrid and electric vehicles.“We have solar in our house, so it’s kind of natural. Every night we just plug the thing in and we wake up in the morning and we've got a full tank essentially,” he said.Hundreds of people crowd around new Ford vehicles at the San Diego International Auto Show, Jan. 2, 2023.He said the high price of gas over the past few years is factoring into their decision to make the switch.
