PETALING JAYA: Five Malaysians, including a woman with her mother and three children, are currently in the West Bank, which is a conflict zone in the ongoing clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinian group Hamas.

PETALING JAYA: The Election Commission will hold a special meeting on Terengganu's Kemaman by-election on Oct 17 chaired by its chairman Tan Sri Abdul Ghani Salleh.

The meeting, among others, would discuss the writ date for the election, nomination and voting dates, the electoral roll to be used, and other preparations. EC secretary Datuk Indera Ikmalrudin Ishak said no appeal was filed on the election petition where the results of the parliamentary election for Kemaman which was held on Nov 19, 2022, was declared null and void.
