Second gentleman Doug Emhoff is hitting the campaign trail on behalf of Vice President Kamala Harris, speaking at campaign receptions in their home state, California, and in Aspen, Colorado.The first stop, on Tuesday, will feature Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, Harris campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez and TV personality Ana Navarro, according to the campaign.
The bus tour will make at least 50 stops this fall, the campaign said in a news release. Second gentleman Doug Emhoff and Minnesota first lady Gwen Walz will make stops on the tour"in the coming weeks," the campaign said. "This election is about freedom — and the American people want and deserve the freedom to make their own health care decisions," Chavez Rodriguez said in a statement.
