Tesla CEO Elon Musk joined in on a call between U.S. President-elect Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymir Zelensky on Wednesday. On the call, Zelensky congratulated Trump on his win of the 2024 presidential election against his Democratric opponent Vice President Kamala Harris, as first reported by Axios.
Trump has not spoken with Vladimir Putin since the election, but the Russian president has said that if Trump calls, he will pick up. The president-elect stated that he will support Ukraine but did not provide any specifics. Zelensky thought the discussion went well and did not add to his concerns about Trump's triumph, per sources familiar with the call. According to one report, it 'didn't leave Zelensky with a feeling of despair.
