An elderly woman has sadly died after a horror house fire in Glasgow on Sunday evening
Emergency services rushed to a property on Annandale Street, Glasgow, around 5.40pm to reports of a blaze.
Sadly the 83-year-old woman inside the property could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene after local residents reported seeing fire fighters smashing a window to the home. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.40pm on Sunday, 16 July, 2023 we were called to a report of a fire at a property on Annandale Street, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and the fire was extinguished. An 83-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Top news stories today "A joint investigation was carried out with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and the fire is not suspicious. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”READ MORE:
