Elden Ring is arguably the most beloved FromSoftware franchise ever created, with the massive Shadow of the Erdtree expansion giving players a seemingly endless open world to explore in the Lands Between.

With Elden Ring Nightreign's incredible success, it's clear that fans are eager for anything new from the IP. And on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, Elden Ring fans are getting an official new release from Bandai Namco and FromSoftware that brings back a beloved character from the franchise in stunning fashion. Elden Ring Is Back With A New Nightreign Release Elden Ring makes an epic return this week with the release of the Elden Ring Nightreign Gaming Mousepad XXL from Bandai Namco, which features a beautifully designed, LED-lit depiction of Wylder from Nightreign. The mousepad was originally meant to release back in February this year but was delayed for reasons unknown. The Official Gaming Mousepad XXL is a huge foam pad measuring 300 × 900 mm , and features an LED case and RGB Backlight. The mousepad features fourteen different "captivating lighting modes," with "fixed colors, gradients, flashing effects, and more," as well as the customized Nightreign logo case. Fans can pre-order the mousepad now from the official Bandai Namco store, and it's currently listed for roughly $60 USD. This is the perfect addition to any Elden Ring Nightreign enthusiast's gaming station, and is certain to take your Elden Ring collection to the next level. What's The Word On Elden Ring 2? After the most recent Elden Ring release of The Forsaken Hollows DLC for Elden Ring Nightreign, fans have their fingers crossed that a brand-new Elden Ring announcement might be on the docket for later in 2026, and possibly even an official sequel announcement for Elden Ring 2, however unlikely. While there's still no official confirmation that such a project is even in the works, it doesn't hurt to keep the hope alive, despite FromSoftware director Hidetaka Miyazaki doing his best to put any rumors to rest until an actual project is ready for an announcement. That said, it doesn't seem likely that Elden Ring would receive a direct sequel given Miyazaki's comments, but that doesn't mean the IP is dead by any means. Fans will continue to keep their fingers crossed for a brand-new Elden Ring game announcement in the coming years even if the likelihood is abysmal that it happens anytime soon. With various other FromSoftware projects in the works and the highly anticipated release of both the Elden Ring Tarnished Edition and The Duskbloods for Nintendo Switch 2, it's an exciting time to be an Elden Ring fan.
