As Nottingham Forest prepare for their first home game of the season, attacker Anthony Elanga is looking forward to being on the right side of an “intimidating” atmosphere.
Elanga recalls the boos and jeers which were directed towards United on that occasion. But the reception he receives is likely to be much more positive when Forest take on Sheffield United Trentside on Friday night. “I’ve got to be honest - and I can say this now - it is intimidating,” Elanga said of the City Ground. “I remember getting an assist that game and I could just hear the fans shouting at me. This time it will be positive!
“A lot of players felt that, you can just feel it. When you step out and you hear Mull of Kintyre, it is a bit intimidating, I’ve got to be honest.”
