The El Segundo All Stars are far from home — but are ready to play ball under the brightest lights in Little League.last week by beating a team representing Northern California, will take the field at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, Aug. 17. The El Segundo team wil take on the Great Lakes Region champion.

The El Seguno team wore their West Region uniforms — sky blue jerseys, with yellow trim and numbers, and yellow hats — aboard their float. They waved to the crowd and enjoyed the spoils of being one of the best Little League teams in the nation.If El Segundo beats the Great Lakes Region on Thursday — in a game that will be nationally televised on ESPN — it would advance to the winner’s bracket and would play again on Monday.
