Tempahan bilik hotel merosot secara mendadak ketika gelombang pertama penukaran Covid-19.
Katanya, statistik pelancongan domestik menunjukkan penurunan, tetapi masih terlalu awal untuk mengetahui skala impak yang akan dirasai kerana gelombang ke-2 baru bermula. Beliau mendakwa ejen pelancongan ialah mangsa terbesar penularan wabak itu kerana “kami ialah kumpulan paling terjejas disebabkan sifat perniagaan ini”.
“Walaupun kita tidak dapat mengesan permintaan akan datang buat masa ini, kita menjangkakan permintaan akan merosot sekurang-kurangnya 30% hingga 50% mulai April ini.”
