Eight Glasgow police officers took unwell at scene after 'hazardous material' found
Eight emergency service responders took unwell at the scene of a major incident when "potentially hazardous material" was found in a Glasgow flat.
Seven police officers and a Scottish Police Authority forensic service staff member took unwell and received medical treatment on site in the east end of the city. Residents were allowed to re-enter their homes this morning after being unable to return overnight. Cordons were in place and Altyre Street, Dalness Street, Ard Street and Trainard Avenue. The roads have now re-opened.
