MIRI: Eight new Covid-19 positive cases have been detected in Sarawak on Tuesday (March 17).

The State Disaster Relief Management Committee in its latest updates said as on noon five of these new cases had been admitted to the Sarawak General Hospital in Kuching."With the eight new positive cases, the total number of Covid-19 positive patients in Sarawak is 42," said the committee.Aside from the eight positive cases today, another 35 people have been placed under investigations this morning for suspect Covid-19, it said.

The committee said the state authorities were still tracing 656 people in Sarawak who had gone to the Seri Petaling mosque event recently.Article type: free
