IPOH: Eight more Ipoh City Councillors have been sworn in at the city council headquarters here.

The latest batch of city councillors consist of members of Barisan Nasional , Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia and PAS .

Those sworn in before Ipoh Datuk Bandar Datuk Rumaizi Baharin included Puteri Holijah Muhamad Rali, A. Ganesan, Mohammad Iskandar Abdul Rahman, Norul Huda Ahmad Nalor, Datuk Azizul Kama Abd Aziz, Chan Soon Yip, S. Jaya Ganesh and Azmi Murad Mohamad Yusof.It was reported that 17 city councillors were sworn in on May 4, following the change in the state government.
