Eight San Antonians face up to 10 years in prison for their alleged roles in transporting stolen cars across the border, the Department of Justice said.

From June 2021 to February 2022, the crew is suspected of exporting or attempting to export known stolen vehicles to Mexico, according to the Department of Justice.

All eight are in custody following the issuance of a 12-count indictment related to the thefts and exportation.Authorities arrested Guadalupe Alex Armendariz-Delgadillo, 46; Ivan Pacheco, 36; Julio Escamilla, 26; Derrick Ramirez, 28; Richard Joseph, 29; Michael Martinez, 20; Enrique Moreno, 23; and Leonardo Santillan, 21.

From June 2021 to February 2022, the crew is suspected of exporting or attempting to export known stolen vehicles to Mexico, according to the Department of Justice. Armendariz-Delgadillo, Pacheco and Joseph were also charged in separate counts of unlawfully transporting the stolen vehicles from the United States to Mexico in 2021.
