Egipto, Etiopía y Sudán reanudaron el domingo sus negociaciones de años sobre la controvertida represa que Etiopía está construyendo en el principal afluente del río Nilo, según informaron fuentes oficiales.

La reanudación de las negociaciones se produjo después de que el presidente egipcio Abdel Fattá el-Sisi y el primer ministro etíope, Abiy Ahmed, declararon el mes pasado que pretendían alcanzar en un plazo de cuatro meses un acuerdo sobre la explotación de la presa del Gran Renacimiento Etíope, de 4.600 millones de dólares, en el Nilo Azul.

Sewilam afirmó que existen muchas “soluciones técnicas y jurídicas” para el conflicto, sin dar más detalles.
