The damage wrought by typhoon EgayPH on the crop sector has climbed to P62 million on Friday, Department of Agriculture announced. | FArgosinoINQ
Based on the 8 a.m. bulletin of DA-Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management , Egay has affected 3,679 farmers in Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos, Calabarzon , Mimaropa , and Caraga.
DA-DRRM said the affected commodities include rice, corn, livestock, and poultry, with a volume of production loss of 2,035.4 metric tons spanning 4,315 hectares of agricultural areas.
