West Ham midfielder looks set to move to Doncaster Rovers this season
The former Coleraine starlet has impressed since joining the Hammers two years ago. He was part of the victorious FA Youth Cup winning side in his first season at the London Stadium and continued to progress last year in the Premier League 2.
However, the club have a clear development plan in place for the Northern Ireland Under-21 international. Going out on loan this season is part of that with a number of clubs keen to recruit Kelly. The 19-year-old signed a new two-and-a-half-year contract with West Ham back in January. Speaking at the time Sporting Director Mark Noble said: "Since signing for the Club in 2022, Patrick has embodied the Academy’s core values of hard work, determination, and humility.
Speaking after penning that new deal Kelly said: “When I signed for the first time here, I was told that your second professional contract is a really important one to achieve so it is good that I have got that.
