IPOH: The Perak state government has started efforts to draft economic stimulus packages to help the business community, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), says Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu.
The Perak Mentri Besar said in view of the movement control order to curb the spread of Covid-19, he understands the constraints faced by industry players.
He said among the initial steps to be taken by the state is to review the operation hours of wholesale markets fixed from 4am to 10am during the MCO period. “I have also directed the Special Task Force to Facilitate Business to play a proactive role in facilitating application processes under the state’s jurisdiction.
