"We have done due diligence, we have prepared our foot soldiers for a picket and a shutdown. They are ready to raise their voice to ensure that the president resigns."Twala says protests kicked off at the stroke of midnight.
"Immediately, when the clocked stroked midnight, we were everywhere and spread across the province, there is no spot or specific point where we will be gathering but where we see where we need to go and ensure that there is no movement of traffic, we are going to ensure we deploy our people." Twala says he is confident their planned picket will not only be joined by its members but by various groups in society.
