HOLMES COUNTY , Ohio - The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-1 tornado touched down in Holmes County during Monday evening’s severe storm.At least five homes in the village of Killbuck have damage from trees falling on them, officials reported.
“The tornado caused scattered damage, including downed trees, downed power lines and minor structural impacts,” Holmes County EMA stated. “Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.” “We are grateful for the swift response from the community. Residents looked out for one another, demonstrating the strength and resilience that define Holmes County. Holmes-Wayne Electric Cooperative restored power in a timely manner, ensuring essential services were quickly brought back online.
