NRL: Ron Coote was taken back after being announced as the 14th NRL immortal.
The Eels have struck back after the Panthers stole one of their prized juniors , signing Isaiah Iongi on a three-year deal .
“Isaiah is a talented player with a promising future, he will be a wonderful addition to our backline next season,” general manager Mark O’Neill said in a club statement.Iongi has been widely regarded as a future star of the NRL since breaking into NSW Cup, having been named the competition’s Fullback of the Year in 2023.
