CONNECTTWEETLINKEDINCOMMENTEMAILMOREEdwin Jackson's 16-year journey through the major leagues is unlike any other in baseball history.
Jackson tied the record, held by former pitcher Octavio Dotel, when he was traded to the A's last June. Since his debut in 2003 with the Los Angeles Dodgers, he had played for the Tampa Bay Rays, Detroit Tigers, Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago White Sox, St. Louis Cardinals, Washington Nationals, Chicago Cubs, Atlanta Braves, Miami Marlins, San Diego Padres, Baltimore Orioles and A's. He's never spent more than three seasons with one club.
Jackson has started 305 of his 394 career major league games and tossed a no-hitter with the Diamondbacks in 2010.
