EDward Gaming’s historic first win in a VALORANT international came after they defeated one of EMEA’s juggernauts, NAVI, in an impressive 2-0 sweep.EDG’s series against NAVI commenced with a 17-15 overtime win on Fracture. The Chinese representatives were up 7-5 by halftime but their lead came crashing down as NAVI’s attacks were successful, with NAVI securing the map point in Round 21.

As luck would have it, EDG then bounced back with splendid retakes and took three straight rounds to extend the game and eventually win in four sets of overtime.The second game on Bind also went to an overtime with EDG coming out on top. After a tied first half, it was actually NAVI who forced overtime as EDG had a fantastic outing in the second half. However, unlike the first game, EDG swiftly ended the series by winning in just one set of overtime, closing the game 14-12.
