The House Education Committee is hearing HB 1608 today which is drawing comparisons to the bill dubbed 'Don't Say Gay' in Florida. Many are rallying against the bill inside the statehouse.

House Bill 1608 is aimed to ban schools and third-party vendors from instruction for students from K-3 on sexual orientation, gender roles, identity and expression.The bill was authored by Republican Rep. Michelle Davis.
