Jon Rosenthal, a mechanical engineer by profession, says he felt called to public service in the aftermath of the 2016 election. Two years later, he was elected to represent northwest Harris County in House District 135.
Rosenthal, 59, told the editorial board that there’s still plenty to do to “fix the grid” and ensure Texas is better protected from the next Uri-strength storm. That’s among his top priorities if re-elected, and there are perhaps no better experts in the Legislature to guide the body in doing so.
