Editorial | Pathetic SA police top brass: If South Africans think they can feel safe in this country while those clowns still occupy those positions, they must forget about it
Editorial | Where did we go wrong?
Last weekend, 11 people were shot dead in Khayelitsha in Cape Town. The mass shootings in this township have been happening since last year. Only recently was an alleged mastermind arrested.Seven bodies were discovered on a farm in the Free State on Friday, while six people were killed in a shooting spree in Alexandra recently.
It also did not help that, following the mass shooting in Soweto, the Qatari government tweeted a weird statement denouncing “acts of terrorism”. The tweet was later deleted. Are we sure South Africa is a real country? When the citizens are scared for their lives and are trying to make sense of these killings, the SAPS leaders are smiling at the cameras while emptying liquor bottles. Pathetic.
